Priyanka Chopra’s actor-cousin Meera Chopra has made her red carpet debut at the 75th edition of the Cannes Film Festival. And she was on cloud nine to unveil the first look of her next film Safed at the prestigious film festival. Meera was dressed in a pink gown, and flashed a bright smile at the red carpet.
Joining her was actor Abhay Verma, director-writer Sandeep Singh, producer Vinod Bhanushali and co-producers Vishal Gurnani and Juhi Parekh Mehta. This year, India is the ‘Country of Honour’ at Cannes.

“I am really excited to make my debut at Cannes this year. It’s too overwhelming since I am representing my film Safed and also walking the prestigious red carpet. So, it’s a double whammy for me and also a big responsibility,” said Meera Chopra, who has acted in films like 1920 London and Section 375 among several films.
Meera Chopra is a known face in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi films. Post Safed, she has some interesting projects in the pipeline, which include the Hindi film Nastik and the Hindi-Telugu bilingual Mogali Puvvu.
