Two months ago, Indian Premier League (IPL) boss Lalit Modi took the internet by storm when he shared a series of pictures with former Miss Universe and actor Sushmita Sen on Instagram and Twitter and announced that he is dating her. He even changed his Instagram Display Picture wit Sushmita besides referring to her in the bio. However, no confirmation came from Sushmita and the actress was spotted with her ex-boyfriend Rohman Shawl on multiple occasions.

Now, Lalit has now removed Sushmita’s name from the bio and has even replaced the DP with one featuring him in tricolour, thus raising speculation of his rift with the former Miss Universe.

Back then in July, Modi had captioned his post, “Just back in London after a whirling global tour #maldives #sardinia with the families – not to mention my # better-looking partner @sushmitasen47-a new beginning a new life finally. Over the moon. In love does not mean marriage YET. BUT ONE THAT BY GODS GRACE WILL HAPPEN. I JUST ANNOUNCED THAT WE ARE TOGETHER.”

He then changed his bio to: “Finally starting a new life with my partner in crime. My love @sushmitasen47.” He also had a picture of him along with the actress as his profile photoA

However, he has now changed the and removed her name from his bio, which currently reads: “Founder IPLt20, Indian Premiere League.”

After their relationship with Sushmita went public, the Aarya was trolled by a section of netizens who accused her of being a “gold-digger”.

In response, Sushmita had shut down the trolls in a long post which read, “The so called intellectuals with their idiosyncrasies….the ignorant with their cheap & at times funny gossip The friends I never had & the acquaintances I’ve never met….all sharing their grand opinions & deep knowledge of my life & character…monetising the ‘Gold Digger’ all the way!!!
